Allow the user to hide the top bar

This is the semiannual request for a way to DISABLE that bar at the top when i browse wordpress sites.
I’d like to have a function to remove it (short of logging out) from MY screen. This has nothing to do with functionally for others.
Just for me, it takes up space.
(Last time the trolls turned this harmless request into a flame war, so I shan’t be looking at follow ups)

There’s no need to continually re-post this. An option to toggle the admin bar has been on our list of things to consider.
