  the option to alllow ” Anyone Can Register” does not exist on my General Settings tab for my free wordpress sites. is that bc I need to pay? If so, how much? If not, where did it go?

  ultimately I want to be able to allow people to directly request registration to the blog (not set up a general wp account).

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  That feature is not available on a WordPress.com blog – no upgrade will give you that function here
