Allowing access to files outside of wordpress's control

  I have a number of files that I need URLs or “permalinks” back to. WordPress doesn’t have to manage them they’re in a separate directory on the root of the domain, sometimes they’re CSVs, PDFs, etc… Currently if you use one of those links WordPress returns a 404, is there anyway to bypass that or something? This worked on Drupal without issue.

  Wordpress is totally new to me, so I could just be doing something wrong here.

  What is the URL of the site with the problem?
