Allowing authorised users to edit their own comments
-
I have set up a private blog for myslef and four friends.
Only we can enter posts, only we can contribute.
It’s not a “blog” – we don’t care who reads it but it’s not for the public.
It’s for perosnal projects so we can discuss and help each other. But we cannot edit our comments. There is no button visible or any tick box in admin section for a comment that I may have left on my friends post..
I cant get ‘simple comment editor’ to work but that seems to be for unauthorised usersWhat I want is infinite editing on anything we have personally added – we are mature adults so should be able to edit our comments at any time.
How would I do this?
FYI: I’m a PHP expert .. but not a WP expert

any one have ideas how to make this work?I just want editable comments on my install
should be trivial surely -
You can’t edit comments on a WordPress.com blog unless you’re an editor or admin.
If you do not have a WordPress.com blog you are in the wrong forum.
