Allowing more posts on front page with hemingway theme?

I really like this hemingway theme and I’d buy the CSS customization capability for it if I found a way to add more posts in the front page. I read and other people can add more pages to show up when they go to the settings > reading, but that option won’t even appear for me. Am I doing something wrong?

Also, is there a way to make the posts before they’re posted larger without having to copy-paste everything to the excerpt? I tried searching but no answer. :( Thanks!

Hemingway is designed to show only the two most recent posts on the main page and there is no way to change that, nor is there a way to have it show the whole post other than copying and pasting the entire post to the excerpt section.

It is the way the theme was designed and would require hacking of the underlying theme php script files, and we do not have access to those. It isn’t something that can be done with CSS.

That’s what I thought. I guess I can’t expect something completely designed to my liking until I pay up and build my own. :) Thank you for clearing things up!
