Allowing readers to submit items on my blog

Is it possible for people to submit items to my blog without them having to be admins? I’m not sure there is this feature on wordpress. Anyone know if it’s possible or any suggestions for that matter.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Not without them being users on your blog now; how about just having a contact form on a submimission page (you can create pages from Pages > Add New in your dashboard), through which anyone could submit something?
