Allowing users access to private blogs
-
Why is it so difficult to navigate this when having a private blog? There should be an option of making it easier for people to follow your blog while private at the same time. For example, if I’ve followed blogs there should be an option in my ‘following’ section to invite them to follow me? That makes sense and that would clearly be a feature many users who wish to have private blogs would use.
Also, I’m wondering why it doesn’t show up in my notifications when I get someone requesting to follow my blog…
Is there no easier option or am I missing something? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It is a feature, if you search the support documents you will find this:

Yes, but it is a feature that should be made more efficient.
What I don’t get mostly is why I’ll receive an email saying somebody has requested to view my private blog…and there is no place I can just accept this?
Do I have to go invite these users every single time?
-
And it is more difficult…I could check off all the people in the boxes similar to the ones that are already there for the other options under following members, in order to invite who i’m following to follow me, and press one button (invite!)…as opposed to typing out all their usernames/emails.

There IS an option in the email for you to allow the person access, or to ignore their request. You must be missing it.

Your notification that someone wants to read your private blog is the email you receive! It contains an option for you to allow access.
