Allowing users to contribute to a page

  Hi!

  I’m a bit new to all of this so apologies. I’ve had a quick look round the forums and couldn’t find anything similar, so apologies again if there is a posting out there with the information I require…

  I’ve created a page in draft state, under my user profile (administrator). Other authors on the blog cannot view or edit the page whilst it is in its draft state – in fact, they don’t even have the “pages” dashboard option.

  Is this a user setup issue, or a feature of the blog?

  Contributors and authors cannot edit other people’s posts, only their own, and they cannot edit or create pages, only posts. Only editors or administrators can do those things – as it should be.
