  How do i setup my blog to allow users to add a new post that would be reviewed before its published? thanks for your time

  Assign these users to be Contributors. Here’s the FAQ about the different roles just for reference.

  let me rephrase the question, how do i allow random people to come and submit a post for review before publishing. thanks drmike

  You don’t. Not with the setup here at wp.com. They have to be at least a Contributor that you’ve added to your blog first before being allowed to make a Post. You might be able to do it with a plugin but for that, you would have to find hosting for your blog and grab the software from wordpress.org.

  You’re thinking more of a CMS like phpNuke or PostNuke. They allow random visitors to make article submissions like you want.
