aloha: firefox called for here?

Kau ka ‘ōnohi ali’i I luna (thesacredpath):
“Most likely it is either an internet connection issue between you and wordpress, or perhaps an invisible proxy server issue, or perhaps your browser is pulling a cached page from your computer instead of getting the new stuff from the internet. Internet Explorer is famous (or infamous) for that. Log out of wordpress, clear your browser cache and cookies, restart your browser and try again.”
having tried that (and noticing that the problem has resurfaced)…
would I really do well to acquire Firefox for this blog to function–or, have I got what may be a fighting chance to lick this on again/off again photo issue with IE?
Also…
I’ve discovered–after the fact–that ten or more tags is at cross purposes with what I’d like to see occur with the blog, i.e. readership. How would I delete a group of them for each post?

Firefox works better on ALL sites than IE does, but it’s useful having both because your site will look different on each, and IE is more widely used. Your blog SHOULD work with either, but you need both to make sure it does.

Thank you raincoaster.
As far as you know, would switching over at this point wreak havoc with the blog as it stands, or not necessarily? I wouldn’t need to start from scratch, for example, correct?
Having both on the computer will not, therefore, create any conflict–quote-unquote?

Uwe ka lani, ola ka honua (sacred path)
Please pardon the technical naïveté, but–and having downloaded Firefox–is there a protocol I need to follow in order to–for lack of a better term–“switch” control of the blog from IE to Firefox?

Remember, it’s WordPress.com software that’s actually building the site. Firefox/IE/whatever is just what you’re using to LOOK at the blog and the Dashboard. It’s no more impactful than changing from one pair of glasses to the other; the world you’re looking at doesn’t change.
