Alphabetical Categories

  I am trying to set up my categories and as I entered the new categories they were automatically filling into alphabetical order instead of the order I need them to be in and was entering them in. Is there a way I can arrange my categories into the proper order?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  This is what the Support docs say:

  Category Order

  If you need to show your categories in a certain order, you can build a Custom Menu then adding a Custom Menu Widget instead.

  Yeah I dont want 12+ categories listed across the top of my menu either…thinking it was a waste of time to try to start this through WordPress.

  Just use a custom menu and list whichever ones you want in a WIDGET not in the header.

  So then how do my posts get into the categories to then be in the new Custom Menu Widget
