I have a domain, try to add it in WP, but my cart forces me to select the $99 option or nothing at all despite the claim it is free. Please assist. I can’t delete the $99 option out of my cart to select the free option to add my domain. Please assist.

I have the auth-code etc. from my former provider, but don’t want to share that on the forum. When I try, it keeps prompting my to the $99 upgrade and will not let me remove that option from my cart.

As I understand you try to transfer your domain to WordPress.com ? Unfortunately, afaik WordPress.com don’t accept incoming domain transfers. However you can map it to WordPress.com at any time you want : https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/ this article will show you all the necessary steps to map the domain to WordPress.com without a transfer.

I checked into your domain. If you are trying to just connect your domain with the blog link you provide. Here is a way . You already own the domain and its in active condition. You should be able to map the domain use this link for further information https://en.support.wordpress.com/map-existing-domain/

Hi there,
In order to connect your domain you’ll need the domain mapping upgrade, as mentioned above, but you will also need a paid plan. Mapping cannot be bought alone, but only as included in a plan.
If you don’t want the Premium Plan, you can use the Personal plan as well. First go to My Site ->Plans and add the plan there, and then you can add the mapping afterwards.
