  If I own a domain somewhere else, how do I know the cost of transferring over to wordpress? If I sign with them for multiple years I get a discount can I do that here?

  You can keep the management of the domain with the company it’s at now and just map it to your site here like this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Or you can transfer management to WP by following these instructions: https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/incoming-domain-transfer/

  I generally find it’s cheaper to get it and renew it through here than through any other domain company.
