already paid for site, asking for payment plan to import owned domain

    Hello – I am setting up a new site. I am trying to use my domain from bluehost. when I take the steps to use the domain I already own, I am reditrected to a wordpress plan selection page. I already have purchased the WooCommerce wordpress plan.

    I think it will help if I clarify that we are a separate provider from Bluehost, and our two companies are not directly connected. We both offer WordPress sites to the public (though we offer a fully managed version for the most ease of use) and you can have a site hosted on our WordPress.com managed hosting or on Bluehost, but you do not need both.

    If you are having trouble with your WordPress site, you may wish to contact Bluehost support for assistance. Our version of WordPress is customized to work with our hosting (for the best performance) so our systems do not connect to WordPress sites hosted on other providers.
