Altering my domain name

  I have purchased sanctionevents.com and would like to roll my purchase of this domain name into another domain name and cancel thecurrently registered sanctionevents.com
  Can I do this?

  You may not roll a purchase of one domain name into another, but you can cancel your ownership of a domain name if it is within 48 hours and get a credit to purchase a different domain name.

  Since sanctionevents.com was purchased 153 days ago on 2011-05-31, it is not eligible for a refund. I would recommend keeping it and letting it expire normally and purchasing the new domain using the form at the top of the Store → Domains page in your blog dashboard. Leaving the sanctionevents.com domain in place will also make sure that any already established links will still work after you change the domain, and that’s a good thing for search and for bookmarks or links to your site that already exist on other websites.
