Altering the description bar for the content slider? (OXYGEN theme)

  Hello!

  I’m hoping to change/alter/remove the description bar that shows up over the content in the slider. (Picture for reference!) I find it covers up too much of the image.

  I know I can technically resize the font, but this also affects the link font size at the top of the page, which is already small enough as it is.

  Is there any way to alter/resize/remove the content slider font independently of the other fonts?

  Hi there, the following will get rid of the header on the featured posts in Oxygen.

  #featured-content header, #featured-content footer {
      display: none;
  }
