alternate profile information for different blog sites

  I would like to use my WordPress profile to manage and contribute to multiple blogs, but I would like the information shown about me in my posts (name, gravatar, etc.) to be displayed differently on each of the blog sites. Is it possible to do this via a single WordPress profile/account? Or do I need to create and manage multiple accounts?

  Hi there,

  It’s not really possible to do this, as profile information is specific to the account, not the blog.

  As you mention, you can always register a new account (using a different email address) for each blog, and transfer the appropriate blog to that account:

  Thanks Chris. I understand, but I’d like to not have to log in and out between accounts to edit different blog sites. It would be great to be able to remain logged into a single account, and to switch between “personas” or profiles instead, or to have each blog keep separate metadata about connected user accounts. But if that’s not possible, it’s not possible! Thanks.
