Alternating Pictures on my front page of my blog

  I am trying to customize my theme so that I can have alternating pictures on the front of my site. how can I do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Are you looking for a different picture each time the page loads or a continuously changing picture (i.e. a slider) while the page is being viewed?

  I was thinking of a slider type but either of the two mentioned would work for me.
