Alternative images for loading images

  Is it possible to create an alternative image to replace an image whilst loading or when it couldn’t display instead of a placeholder?

  Yes you can upload any image into any post or page and later edit the post or page and replace it with another image.

  No, that’s not what I meant.

  If a picture doesn’t load on a web-page there’s normally a red X indicating the picture hasn’t loaded properly or it’s still loading.

  Can you show – for example – your logo as a sort of “splash screen” for when the image is loading instead of having a blank space?
