Alternative text not showing

  I have entered alt text in the edit box for my photos. However, the photos on my (new!) blog do not show the alt text when I hover over the photo.

  Am I missing something?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Alternate text is displayed in place of the photo if the photo can’t be displayed for whatever reason.

  What appears on hover over the photo is the title text :-)

  Nothing appears when I hover over… Not the title and not the alt text.

  Still missing something… ?

  Alt text does not appear on hover.

  Please edit your image and add a value for Image Title Attribute in the Advanced Options section to make the title appear on hover.

  If you are editing the image from the Post Editor, you will have to hit Update twice, once on the image edit panel and the second time on the Post Editor screen.

  Thanks for your assistance!

  After reading your first response, I did a little research regarding alt text and title attributes. Since alt text is what is needed for visually impaired persons using screen readers, I will stick with that. One article I read said that using the title attribute and alt text can actually cause confusion for some screen readers.
