Alternative website under one web address?
-
Hello everybody,
I have two different, free wordpress blogs
1. Blog A under the name myblog1.wordpress.com
2. Blog B unter the name myblog2.wordpress.comSo they can be found in the net unter their names, when google or another browser looks up
a. the blog name
b. and the blog addressI would like to provide an alternative website unter the same address, i.e.
1. Blog A’ under myblog1.wordpress.com
2. Blog B’ under myblog2.wordpress.comin case I don’t want to show the genuine content unless say the payment comes.
I know that I have the possibility to create a new website under the same name, but with another web address. I can also hide my genuine website, but that way the reader doesn’t have the information whether there is a technical problem or whether it is on purpose.
There is also a possibility to create a multisite webpage, but I am not skilled in programming at all and doesn’t have the time to learn ist. Maybe I could create a new multisite webpage, but I have really a lot of content to be transferred and don’t like that solution.
What is the best solution then for me?
Shoul I buy a domain? Meaning that different sites would be summed up under one domain. Am I correct? How many sites can I keep under one domain? I need at least four different sites under one domain. Are these sites recognizable in the net?
To summ it up. I want the following solutions.
1. The reader enters my blogs name ‘MyblogA’ and finds it’s genuine content.
2. The reader enters my blogs name ‘MyblogA’ and finds the alternative content saying: ‘We still need the sum ….until we show you the genuine content’.I would like only to swith the sites, but now it seems impossible.
Maybe you could help me.
Regards

That is not possible, anywhere. You cannot have the same domain point to two different locations on the web.
What you are looking for is a website with a membership option. You can do that on a self-hosted WordPress.org site using plugins. Here you’ll only have one site connected to your domain, but the content on the site is hidden behind a paywall. If you want more information on how to create something like that, please post in the WordPress.org forums for help:

Thanks a lot. But this seems quite complicated to me. But maybe I should develop? I think about it.
Merry Christmas to you.
