Alternatives to Google Calendar widget

    I am having trouble learning how to get my google calendar up on my wordpress page because the google calendar is for some reason not allowing me to create calendars. I press the calendar button and nothing happens.
    Are there any work-arounds for this that would allow a person to have a similar calendar where you can place events inside?
