Alternatives to <hr>

  The <hr> tag is not in the list of supported html tags, and when I attempted to use it, it messed up the formatting in the rest of the post. Does anyone have any alternatives that can produce the same or similar appearance to a horizontal rule?

  You could create an image of a line, customize it however you want, and add it to your posts when you need it.

  The hr-tag works fine, just use the xhtml one:
  <hr />
  it works in all themes i’ve tested up to now (quite a few).

  Thanks isadora! You are right, it does work. It wasn’t listed on our Allowed HTML Tags, so I’ve added it.
