Alternatives to PayPal in WordPress.com (i.e. without a plugin)

    I am looking for a PayPal alternative that does not require a plugin (i.e. something that I can use on a WordPress.com site). I have very rudimentary webmaster skills, switching to WordPress software is not an option, and my organization has asked that I find an alternative to PayPal. We also have a very limited budget so we are trying to find something that doesn’t require upgrading to Business.

    Someone had recommend Google Wallet, but from what I can tell that also requires a plugin.

    I know this is a tall order. Suggestions welcome.

    You can use the Paypal widget on a WordPress.com site, the steps to do so are here:

    Thanks for your reply, but we are looking for an alternative to PayPal. We no longer want to use PayPal as a company. We are also ideally looking for a socially and politically responsible company.
