Alto Focus: Home Gallery View of Blog Post

    Hello,

I would like to have the onmouseover effect and the cool gallery from the Alto Focus theme (here: https://wordpress.com/theme/altofocus). I already found out through the forum that it is not set by default and I have to activate it somewhere but I could not find where. So far, I just get a blog entry gallery with the picture in the background, but not the dynamic version.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,

The “gallery” on the homepage of the Alto Focus demo includes the featured image of each post. The posts are arranged in a special grid format, and there’s a distinctive mouseover effect. There is no setting that enables or disables these features. All that’s required is to choose to display the latest posts at Homepage Settings, and to set a featured image on each post.

You may have to publish at least two posts for it to work as in the demo.

It sounds like you might be describing a single post, with a gallery inserted. The mosaic grid format and mouseover effect are only seen on the homepage, when it’s set to display the latest posts. Let me know if I’ve misunderstood the issue you’ve described.

The mouseover effect is also present if the latest posts are set to display on a page other than the homepage, but the grid pattern won’t be the same because it’s constrained by the wide margin on the left built into the design of pages on Altofocus.
