    P.S. the drop-down list of previously used tags doesn’t appear until I actually click in the Tags input box.

  • @ukpoliticos

    What Jennifer means is to have a similar drop-down in the Customizer as appears in the editor.

    @justjennifer

    you meant one needs to create a separate, special tag rather than use an existing one

    Got it. I’ll take another look at those instructions.

    Thanks @kokkieh. Now that I’ve had a bit more coffee and time to think about it, using a special tag instead of an existing one also helps me understand the other tick box under “Featured Content” in the Customizer on Altofocus.

    Hide tag from displaying in post meta and tag clouds.

    @ukpoliticos as @kokkieh has already explained, I was referring to the Customizer and not the Posts Editor, but thank you.

    Regardless, also thank you for asking this question about the landscape images in Altofocus. We uncovered an inconsistency and learned a lot about how this feature works to boot. :)

    Seconded. Never apologise for asking a question here, as ultimately every future person to see this thread will learn from it :)

    @kokkieh – As of this morning, tags appear under the Featured Content in the Customizer after typing a few letters. Thanks for adding this.

  • While I love being thanked as much as the next guy, I have no hand in this :D

    As I mentioned above, Core is working heavily on the Customizer, so it’s possible this is something from there that’s been implemented on WordPress.com already.
