Altofocus featured images revert to unfeatured randomly over time.

    Sorry, the earlier post linked to the wrong blog! This is correct:

    All of the posts in the blog have been set to featured by adding a tag for “featured”, but every day a random number of the tags get deleted on their own. How can this be fixed?

    This is a known issue that some folks have reported with different themes. Unfortunately, since our developers haven’t been able to replicate the issue consistently, there is no fix yet.

    I will add your case to our report. A few more details would be helpful:

    • Do you use the main dashboard, or the older WP Admin dashboard?
    • Do you notice this with scheduled posts or immediately published posts?
    • Do you notice any difference between posts that you go back and edit, vs. post that haven’t been edited?

    Thanks Kathryn! I use the older WP admin for almost everything, and the quickedit for the posts. I haven’t used scheduled posts at all, but I did set the dates of the posts to a historical order dating back to 2013.

    One important thing I noticed in WP admin was that after the featured tags were added, I added a new category, then I changed my mind and deleted said category and this caused ALL featured tags to be deleted (I assume any tags would have been deleted).

    I don’t think I had any posts with zero edits, so I can’t say.
