    Theme is AltoFocus

    This theme is almost perfect for me!

    I am wondering if there is a way to adjust the size of the Logo.

    I know the theme makes the image I use default at a maximum height of 100px but is there a way to make the maximum larger? Say 250px?

    Is there some kind of custom css snippet i could use for this.

    Any help is much appreciated!

    Cheers

    Hi rkhcreative,

    I have checked you theme’s CSS, you may need to do custom CSS to override the size of your site’s logo, please try to read this https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/editing-css/ on how to insert custom CSS and try inserting the code below:

    @media screen and (min-width: 50em) {
        .site-branding-wrap .custom-logo-link .custom-logo {

            width: auto !important;
            max-width: inherit !important;
        }
    }

    Please let me know how it goes ok?

    Unless or until you have purchased a Premium or Business plan see: http://wordpress.COM/pricing provides CSS editing availability you cannot edit the CSS of any theme.

    Note 1: Once you have the required upgrade you can use this link https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform so you can create a thread that will appear in the CSS Forum where you will get the help you need with CSS editing.

    Note 2: You can also post there prior to purchasing an upgrade to get an answer to whether or not what you want to do can be accomplished via CSS editing.

    Thanks for the info! I really appreciate the help.

    I am considering hosting a wordpress site myself instead of upgrading because all i want is to change one thing and it will cost $99 per year. For 6 dollars more at bluehost i get total freedom to customize css and i dont have to pay 300 dollars to remove the “powered by wordpress” on my site.

    I wish wordpress would make it possible to choose what features you want to upgrade. It seems like $36 for the upgrade to get a domain then $100 for the freelance upgrade so i can get css and then 300 for removing powered by wordpress is all a little ridiculous. I know there are lots features and security and ease of use but there must be others out there who see this as an inconvenience when all they want is 3 little features or changes.
