AltoFocus theme is displaying my posts in a semi-random order

  I’m using AltoFocus on a free package. Before I posted my most recent blog today, they were all displaying in published date order. However, whilst I have not made a conscious change to any settings, they now are not. When I use the ?order=asc extension on my url, my posts are displayed in ascending date order. However, when I use the ?order=desc extension (the way they were always previously displayed by default) they appear in a semi random order (as they do if I don’t use the extension at all). I say semi random, because it’s largely in date order with some exceptions. I’ve been through all the settings I can think of, and they all appear to be set up to display in date order. The really odd thing is that when I go to posts >> all posts in the admin view, they are all listed in the correct published date order. You can tell there is an issue, because the colors associated with the posts should run in yellow, pink, blue, green, orange – in a cycle.
