Alves theme got messed up and now i can't start over.

  I’m frustrated beyond belief. I set up an account this weekend, chose the Alves theme and started uploading my own images and adding some text. I gave my sister an admin account to help, as she’s a graphic designer. Somehow the first image got messed up and went to HTML mode and i have no idea how to work with it, and we couldn’t get it reverted, so i deleted my page, chose a different theme, and then went back and chose the Alves theme again.
  Now, no matter what theme it is, when i choose customize, i don’t get a page that has that template theme, its always the same image of a basic page that is definitely NOT the Alves theme. Im so freaking frustrated. I almost went with a different site to create my webpage and its been 3 days of nothing but hassle and im THIS close to closing my account altogether.
  I can’t figure out how to post a photo of what i see when i choose customize. But its definitely NOT showing me what it was the other day when i first started out fresh.

  Thank you for responding, but that’s not what I’m asking. I tried that before I deleted my original pages that I was creating. It only happened in the top block, the rest of the page was fine but it gave me an error message about the picture and it tried to tell me to convert to group HTML.

  What I’m saying it’s doing now is that when I choose that seem, and I go to try and customize it it does not take me to that theme it takes me to a completely different design page. And no matter what I do or which theme I choose and activate, it takes me to the same random page.

  I haven’t published a page yet. I just set up my account this weekend and started working on choosing a theme and starting to edit the details.
