Alves theme – white line in drop-down primary nav menu

  Hi there,

  I’m using the Alves theme to refresh my freelancing website. Under one parent page on the primary nav there are four child pages.

  For some reason, there is a horizontal white line appearing between the third and fourth items in the drop-down menu showing these child pages, and I can’t figure out why.

  Hi staff-mckluskey, thank you for your reply! This brilliant forum has already been very helpful with my other queries related to this theme :)

  I can’t share the website because it’s on a staging site (I’m refreshing http://www.concisecontent.co.uk which currently uses a different theme), hence the image I shared in my original post so that you can see where the problem appears.

  I’ve not changed anything in the Alves theme files. I have just checked my staging site in Google Chrome and the line doesn’t appear. Here are the two images for comparison:

  After posting my query in the WordPress.org forum, I have been told that I need to post it in the theme support theme, i.e. here. I’m feeling at a bit of a loss, so it would be fab if someone were able to help. Many thanks for any advice!

  Ah, sorry for the runaround, @buildblog. Typically we provide support for themes in the .org repository from their forums on WordPress.org, and support for free hosted sites here on WordPress.com in these forums. I see you’re stuck in between.

  And I tried duplicating this bug on a test site with Alves here, but was not able to.

  Is there any chance you could export the content from your staging site site, and upload it to a free, private staging site here so we can see what you’re seeing? Staff will be able to see the private site.
