Always open all pictures in new window pane of web browser
-
Hello,
I write a travelers blog. I have text with photo’s implemented.
If I want a picture to open in a new window in a web browser, i have to change this for every picture individually. That is a lot of work.Is it possible to have a setting that all pictures will always open in a new window? Or is it possible to change the setting for a bulk of photo’s instead of one by one separately?
Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
David

There is no option to bulk set images to open in a new window.
However we can do some text replacing in the Text tab of the Edit Post screen.
1. From the Edit Post screen, click on the Text tab.
2. Copy the post content to a text editor.
3. Replace<a href="https://davidenchalle.files.wordpress.comwith
<a target="_blank" href="https://davidenchalle.files.wordpress.com4. Paste the post content back to the Text tab.
5. Publish post. This is not the most efficient method but at least you can edit all the images in a post in a single go.

Thanks for your quick response.
I tried your solution, but it does not seem te work for some reason.
I followed your steps. But when i post my page everything seems the seems, but it is not possible anymore to click on the photo’s (the pictures don’t have a link anymore).
Am I doing something wrong?

I found the solution. When i put
target="_blank"in front of thehrefit does not work. When i put it behind the link, it does work.So i changed the
><img class=withtarget=“_blank” ><img class=and then it worked. Thanks for the idea and putting me on the right track.
