always the same author when posting via email

  I have a blog with several authors and contributors.

  Some of them asked me to enable posting via mail, for they find it confortable to post from their iphones.

  I did so and the posting works.

  But there is one quirk: every time another author post to the blog via email, from its e-mail address, I end up to be recognized as the author.

  It seems that wordpress does not recognize the sender email address and do not put it as post author.

  I guess this way even a person I do not know could post to my blog appearing under my name.

  But the main problem is that I would like every post to be related to its real author.

  We are blogging about the law and it is much important to know who is answering.

  Is there a workaround? Did I misconfigured something?

  Is this is to be a feature request, how do I submit it?
