Always told "password is incorrect" when logging in

    Hello all.

    Every time I try to log into wordpress, I am told that my password is incorrect. I have to reset my password every time (and I know I have been putting it in correctly!), even now when I had to log into the forums to write this post. I also had the password saved in my browser to keep me logged in and it still brought me to the login page and told me it was incorrect.

    When I try to reset my password, it seems that my email address is not recognised and no reset is sent. However, one of my fellow admins was able to reset my password this way no problem. I am 100% certain I am NOT typing my email address wrong.

    I have been able to reset my password by giving my username instead of my email address (and it is then sent to the email address it rejected!). However, after I installed jetpack and it would not accept my username, email or password, I had to enter a new username. Now it seems I cannot reset anything with the old username at all, and in both cases, my email is always rejected.

    Any help? This is seriously slowing me down!

    kiezburn.org is hosted by SoftLayer, Inc., not by wordpress.com

    That site is not on WordPress.COM servers and we cannot help with it.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums.
