am having difficulty with attaching wordpress to an existing doman

    I have purchased DoorCleaningService.com domain from Network Solutions
    I am attempting to create an account with WordPress which will be connected with this domain. How can I get this done?

    Hi @macharwek,

    Domain connects not o account but to a website (which is under account).
    So if you talk about hosting a website on WorsPress.com, and as long as you have created an account already, you have to create a website and get a paid plan to be able to map or transfer a domain that you have. Included in the plan is one free domain transfer.

    Here you can find the info about available domains and their costs on WordPress.com: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-pricing-and-available-tlds/. Please have in mind that first year one domain is free of charge!
    Keep in mind that any domain you transfer to us will also be renewed for an additional year once the transfer completes, so essentially you’re paying for that renewal. You won’t lose any time you’ve already paid for on the domain at your current domain provider.
