  Am I allowed to put google adsense and affiliate adds on my wordpress blog?

  No you cannot advetrise or conduct business on a wordpress.com blog. The only exceptions are those with VIP accounts and those who are accepted into the ADControl program – very high traffic blogs.

  If you want a monteized blog your best free hosted bet is Blogger (blogspot). If you are willing to pay for web hosting then you can get free software from wordpress.ORG. Read also > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
