Am I allowed to place paypal on my blog?

  I am working on raising money for competition I have been invited to. I would love to blog about the experience and was wondering if I could place a paypal button on my blog so that long distance friends and family have an easy way to make their donations? Am I allowed to do fundraising through my blog?

  If the blog is hosted here at wordpress.COM, then you can use the procedure outlined in this support document I found by searching support for “paypal.”
