Am I paying twice for the same feature?

I recently added the $26.00 optional upgrade which was “teased” on my blog to turn thejazzmonger.wordpress.com into just thejazzmonger.com. But, I also have the WordPress Value. In looking at the upcoming renewal, I notice that the “domain of your choice” is included in that. So, it seems I am paying twice for the same feature.
Can I get a credit for the $26.00 recently spent and just go ahead and renew the WordPress Value Bundle?

Hi there, you are not being charged twice. You originally purchased the Value Bundle for ntabasafaris.wordpress.com and used the domain credit to register ntabasafaris.org. You then moved the Bundle to thejazzmonger.wordpress.com. The Bundle includes credit for only one domain, so any additional domain registrations are charged at our regular rates.

Thanks for the reply. I see what you are saying. However, I am really kind of asking about the time period going forward from here. I am at the point where the Value Bundle needs to be renewed, and I JUST paid the $26.00 for the domain registration.
It wasn’t until I was looking at the $99.00 renewal that I realized I have just given you $26.00 to cover the next twelve months on domain registration, which would be included in the renewal package.
I could have canceled the $26.00 add-on and waited a few days for the renewal, but I was afraid that the logistics of the domain registration would really get snagged up.

Hi there,
Since the registration included in the bundle is still tied to ntabasafaris.org, it will continue to renew that domain when the entire value bundle renews, leaving thejazzmonger.com domain still uncovered by the bundle. So there will still need to be a separate charge for thejazzmonger.com domain, regardless of the value bundle renewal.

I know that is the case for the moment. But the Value Bundle is about to renew (I think in February). I no longer care about Ntaba Safaris. That is a project that went nowhere because the company owner would provide no help at all.
It just seems to me that, going forward, I shouldn’t be paying $99/yr. for the Value Bundle plus $26/yr. for the domain, if the special domain registration is offered as part of the Value Bundle package.
I realize that it has come together in a crazy fashion for thejazzmonger.com but, still, I don’t think it should cost me, and me only, $125/yr. for a set of benefits that are offered, in the package, for $99.
There is a two-month gap from now to the normal renewal date on thejazzmonger.com. Is there a way to count the $26 I just paid for the domain, credit that, plus something for the two months still owed on this year, and do an immediate renewal that would run Dec.-to-Dec.?
Two months on a $99.00 Value Bundle is worth is worth $33.00, right? That plus the $26.00 I just paid is $59. How about we renew the Value Bundle Upgrade on thejazzmonger.com right now and you guys knock $50 off for this one time? Then I will renew year-by-year in December instead of February.
That way, you make a little extra on the package $108.00 for the next twelve months, and I save a little off the crazy double-charge scenario.

I checked with our internal team, and I went ahead and changed the value bundle for you so that you should be able to just renew the value bundle to renew that domain.
Then, I refunded the domain mapping and registration that you just paid for that domain, since you had already updated the value bundle and now they’re linked.
