Am I secure when in my blogs admin?

  This may be a silly question (I’ll ask it anyway) but I notice the lock on the bottom right corned of the page has a line going through it when I’m in my blog’s administration. It seems to be solid for a moment but then the line appears. Does this mean, when I’m drafting a post or changing my profile, etc, I’m not in a secure area? I’m hoping my information is secure. I thought is was.
