Am I Self Hosted?

    Hello,
    Im attempting t move my blog from wordpress.com to wordpress.org and i used godaddy as my host. However I’m not sure if the hosting worked – can you tell if my blog site (imsoversailles.com) is self hosted? I bought the domain name before i bought the web hosting and tried to transfer all my old blog files but i can’t as imsoversailles.com is the only blog on my wordpress, so i end up exporting the files from my blog and importing into the same blog! I did all this so i could use a custom theme but I’m having so much trouble. Please help – I’m very stuck!

    Yup, imsoversailles.com no longer points to WordPress.com, it’s all hosted at GoDaddy.

    You still have a domain mapping for imsoversailles.com on your blog here. If you want to leave it in place, that basically acts like a site redirect for anyone that happens to visit https://soversailles.wordpress.com/ ; they’ll get pointed to your self-hosted site at imsoversailles.com instead.

    But if you’d like, I can remove the domain mapping and give you a refund. Let me know. :)
