AM I STUPID OR WHAT?

This site is much too complicated for me to figure out. It put the wrong theme on, it keeps showing entirely different screens, and there is no clear direction of what to do next. I uploaded photos and have no idea how to find them, I GIVE UP!! I wrote a decent first blob and have no idea where it is. I am just so annoyed after trying this all afternoon. I can’t even see a clear way to delete what is now posted, when I tried to change the theme to the one I had originally chosen there was no way to type in its name. I guess I’m stupid.

Of course not – you’re just starting out! We all felt like this when we started. Would you like some guidance? Maybe, pick one thing you want to accomplish and someone here can give you a step-by-step for getting it done. How about figuring out how to change your theme first?

Also the Beep Beep Boop screen comes up but never goes onward, just freezes there.
I chose a theme and the site replaced it somehow. I can’t find the one I chose, even though I know its name, there is no place to type it in to get it back in. Just one dead end after another. And simple step by step is offered but it’s not simple at all. I really don’t think I can manage it at all.

Yes, that Beep Beep Boop is a bit of a pill. I try to go straight to the regular Dashboard. Here’s a picture of the Themes area and the search box inside the WPAdmin Dashboard. Are you able to get to this spot?

Susan, thank you for trying to help, but I just have given up altogether. I appreciate your efforts, but it won’t work. It has to be easier, so I will go on hunting for something I can follow.
