Am not receiving blog updates

    I am signed up for 41 blogs but not receiving any email updates. This has happened before; they are suddenly blocked yet I have not changed them. When I got to the WordPress reader site, only one blog is named, but at the older site it says I am signed up for 41 but I cannot access them. If I try to resubscribe, I am told that I am already subscribed.

    I don’t have a site with WordPress.com yet

    Hi there,

    I see that you have checked and unchecked the block email checkbox in the notification settings a few times. have you been able to see emails come through?

    Also, have you checked your junk mail to make sure that the emails are not arriving there?

    When I accessed/unblocked InkyBee blog at your site, all the other blog postings arrived in my inbox. The list of remaining blogs also showed up when I used a link in an email I received for a posted comment for that blog(InkyBee) to manage subscription options. I think I have now stopped the emails re: posted comments for that one blog (InkyBee) without stopping the blog posting themselves from coming through (or the other blogs). Never received any posted comments from the other blogs to which I subscribe.

    I don’t understand why this has happened again(the blogs not arriving in my email). Once I fixed it the first time, I never went back and changed anything.

    Is it safe for me to assume that by blocking the “emails” I am not blocking the blog posts themselves? Some of your instructions at your site are not all that clear (at least to me!).

    Hi there,

    I checked our system and all the emails over the last 24 hours have indeed been delivered – I wanted to confirm what email you are checking? You are referencing the site InkyBee. That site isn’t under the account you are contacting us from. What is the site URL? Regarding the email, if you post it here, only staff will be able to see the email.

    When I first had problems with InkyBee, I established an account with WordPress because that seemed to be the only way to access the blog settings. Before then, I just signed up for the blog posts. If you look at my “account” all that shows up is InkyBee, none of the other blogs show up there. However, I cannot find the list of other blogs ifI use the reader link the top of this page but can find it when I access “subscription options” link at the bottom of the email I received with the email update of posted comments.
    The blog is inkybeestampers.com
    I think I have successfully blocked the comment updates without messing up the rest of the settings.
    I have no problem with just staff seeing this discussion.

    My colleague was referring to the email address. In other words, if you share the email address here, only we will see that.

    This has happened before; they are suddenly blocked yet I have not changed them.

    The email block setting for your account was changed two weeks ago. This happened automatically, because the emails we sent you started bouncing back after being denied by your email server. This is the same reason this setting has changed automatically in the past.

    Please contact your email provider directly to ask why they’re sometimes blocking emails coming from us. It might be necessary to add our email address to a whitelist with them to ensure that the emails always get delivered.
