Amateur Question about Shortcodes etc

  I have a question about shortcodes and more. Now I’m developing a woocommerce site. I want to display tabbed content, so it has latest products/ bestsellers/ most reviewed. However I have the tab shortcode (and the shortcode for adding latest products etc) but am told I can’t put a shortcode in a shortcode, I have to add it manually. How do I do this? I am a complete amateur so please excuse me if this is a very stupid question.

  I am lucky, I get to use them, but don’t have to write them. :)

  They are a bit older, but I tend to like these sites for info, so I have a bias. I hope they are helpful.
