AMAZING COMPLEXITY OF ACCEPTING AN INVITATION TO A PRIVATE BLOG
-
The procedure for ACCEPTING an invitation to a private blog is STAGGERINGLY COMPLICATED for non-computer users. If I as administrator invite someone to join my private blog why can’t they just click “Accept” and then be given rights to play whatever role I have given them? Why do they need a WordPress “account”? I have been using computers for three decades and yet even I took ages to find out how to accept an invitation I sent to my son (after logging into gmail as him). I am truly perplexed as to why this is so complicated. And after eventually getting my son connected as a member (just for testing) I published a post from him which is NOT VISIBLE when I sign out as him and log in as myself, the administrator. I want to use this blog for the parents of my son’s class, but I am never going to get them to understand how to accept my invitations ….
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
