"Amazing People"

  “You are following this blog, along with x other amazing people” — is there any way to change the “amazing people” part of the wording to something different while still showing how many followers? I can’t see any place in the widget settings that specifies that.

  It seems like the kind of flattery I see if I look in my spam folder. Blech. I kind of like having the number of followers showing, but I don’t like that wording.

  I’m using the Twenty Ten theme.

  Go to Settings > Reading and down at the bottom you may change the wording for followers and email subscriptions. You may also change the text in the sidebar Widgets.

  The term “amazing” is not very spammy but you can choose any wording you wish. Thanks.

  Thank you, I looked at that. Unless I’m missing something, that lets me specify email notification text, but not the wording of the sidebar widget.
