Amazon Affiliate product link

  Hi

  I’d like to put a Amazon Affiliate link on aniridia.org.uk ideally in the sidenbar or else in a post or page.
  The HTML iframe is stripped out if I try to add it to a sidebar widget.
  I see the advertising policy that says this is not allowed but I ;also see occasional link post being allowed in the past . I also see an exception for Amazon link here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/affiliate-links/

  Please clarify if I may be put a link in a page or post instead?

  Hi there,

  You’re right, the amazon.com affiliate program is indeed an exception to the affiliate rule, however the issue here is not the affiliate link, but the iframe code which you are putting in! We do not actually allow iframe tags in our coding. If Amazon has some other variation which you can use, you can try that, but the iframe is not allowed.
