Amazon Affiliates Inline Frame/ Frameset Not Working
-
I’m trying to embed an Amazon Affiliates store into my site. However, when I attempt to add the necessary HTML to create an inline frame or frameset, it doesn’t work.
Further explanation:
Using the text editor for the page I have designated for the store. I will copy and paste the html from Amazon onto this text editor. The html appears in the editor, then I hit “publish”. When I do this, the page just shows the link to the external store. The store is not integrated into my wordpress.com site page. When I go back into the editor, the frame is gone and there’s just a setup for a link.
Does anyone know why this is happening and how it can be fixed? Thanks for reading and if you have any knowledge that may be helpful, please share!

Read Monetize Your Site https://en.support.wordpress.com/monetize-your-site/ and note Aggiliate linking in that support doc.
The only advertising program at WordPress.com is called WordAds and it’s for blogs on their own domains that have enough traffic to qualify for acceptance into the plan.

https://wordads.co/faq/There is no FTP access to wordpress.com blogs and no blogger installed plugin capability. Those exist only on wordpress.ORG software installs and no upgrade alters that reality.

Oops! Aggiliate linking was meant to be affiliate linking – sorry.
The software will strip all advertising codes out. https://en.support.wordpress.com/monetize-your-site/#affiliate-linking
1. WordPress.com allows bloggers to insert text affiliate links within post and page content to most third-party affiliate programs, provided they are not the primary content of the site in question.
2. Image affiliate links in posts and pages and any banners, affiliate links in sidebar or footer widget areas, are still considered to be advertising and are not allowed on WordPress.com blogs.

Thanks for your response, timethief.
I had suspected that may be the case, but I wasn’t completely sure if that applied to all wordpress.com sites or just ones without a custom domain name, but this makes sense. I appreciate your help.
