  Hi, I am trying to an an amazon affiliate link to a product I use on my wordpress post. The html code works with the image when I hit preview, I can see it and it looks great- but when I hit publish it isnt there on the published post.

  Correct account: Yes

  Please note that affiliate links are allowed on WordPress.com as long as the primary purpose of your blog is to create original content. We do not allow sites that exist primarily to drive traffic to affiliate links. Affiliate links should be related to your site’s content in some way.

  I also noticed you purchased a new domain. While you can purchase a domain without a plan, to have your domain be your primary domain, you need a paid plan. Otherwise, your domain will redirect to your free *.wordpress.com URL.
