Amazon Associate “image only” link problem

    I am an Amazon Associate trying to use the “image only” option to link a product to my blog. When I paste the HTML code into the HTML box for the blog post and preview it, the picture icon comes up as a white box with a red x in the center and a dashed line underneath. If I click on the box the link goes through to the right place, but I want the right picture to be displayed on the blog post! What am I doing wrong?

    Most Amazon codes don’t work here; advertising and affiliate links are generally not permitted at WP.com. You can use Amazon text link code if you’ve got a book review blog, for instance, but widget codes and pretty much anything fancier than a straight text link is automatically stripped out, both for anti-advertising reasons and for security reasons.

    If you paste the EXACT code you’re trying to use here between backticks, we might be able to find a workaround for you.
