Amazon Kindle Preview Error

Hi,
I would like to check if there is an update that disables Amazon Kindle previews options in ‘blocks,’ when posting on WordPress? It used to be a great tool but as I check now, it’s no longer posting or is the link broken? I have the error come out ‘read.amazon.com refused to connect.’ come out instead of the book cover from Amazon. I tried other browsers and have been getting the same results. Kindly let me know if anyone has the same problems. Thank you!

I use the Amazon Kindle block to imbed the link that normally would show the preview of the book. I checked and it applies to all my postings that uses this imbedding.

I could find the error which you are mentioning above. I could check in the source code you are referring to this URL for the preview which is throwing an error below:-
This could be the issue with amazon services or with iframe.
I think staff members can provide more insights into this. -

It used to be the link that I placed so that is weird. It has worked for all the times I posted in the past. I also brought this up and it got fixed.
Will check again.later on which link should I place for this then and will revert.

Hi there, I see you posted about this previously at https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/amazon-kindle-embedding/ so I understand you are still encountering this issue in spite of the earlier resolution mentioned.

Okay, So What Sites Can I Embed From?
You can use all of these:Service: Amazon Kindle instant previews
Block: Amazon Kindle
Embed Type: Block
Since: WordPress 4.9I think WordPress is no longer able to do previews at this time, if I understood it correctly.
I will wait for confirmation but I think that’s going to be the move going forward. Very sad about this, which is more from Amazon’s side versus WordPress.

Hi there,
Kindle embeds aren’t working at the moment, and it appears that the problem is on Amazon’s end. Our developer team have reached out to Amazon about this, but we haven’t heard back from them yet.
For now, we recommend you use an image block with an image of the book cover, linking to the product page on Amazon, until Kindle embeds work again.
We’ll update here if there is any change.

Thank you so much for this update.
I appreciate the advice but for now, I took that block from my postings (the more recent ones) to ensure that it doesn’t affect the post anymore. I have a photo of the book anyways and will just have to do for now.

Yes, error still occurring so decided not to include the block anymore. It’s sad that this is happening but it would be Amazon’s loss versus WordPress. I appreciate the community and people messaging me on this.
